OVERVIEW

Don Chan Palace is situated on the banks of the Mekong. This 14-story hotel is the countries first five-star hotel, and is the tallest building in Vientiane. This is also where officials had the meetings at the 10th ASEAN Summit. TA shopping complex adjacent to the hotel should be complete by 2005. The two-story complex, which will cover 339,620 square metres, will have around 1,500 shops and space to park 650 cars and 1,000 motorcycles.
